Convert directional to omni for pBS2120

Hi,

I would like to replace the internal antennas in the pBS2120 we have, with omni antennas.

  1. Can we take off the cover and connect omnis to the antenna ports?
  2. Will this void our warranty or trigger an intrusion detection alarm?
  3. Will Baicells be able to do this for us?

It wouldn’t be hard to do, but I’m pretty sure it would void the warranty. I’m also told it would be illegal to operate (in the United States, anyway).
