Both Cloud EPC and HSS servers are being upgraded on July 8, 2021, 12:00am Pacific. This upgrade adds the Virtual Roaming feature which will allow operators to configure roaming with other Baicells CloudCore operators. The user interface for this feature will be included in the upcoming CloudCore v7.1 upgrade (targeted for middle of July). HaloB-enabled eNodeBs will not be impacted. For eNodeBs which are configured for Cloud EPC with MME Pool (dual MME connections), they should remain Active during the maintenance window as one EPC server will be upgraded at a time to avoid service disruption. Downtime is expected to last around 2 hours.
