WAN over ethernet - Aurora 243

Hello,

I am trying to setup Aurora 243 with Core and the only connection available is the ethernet not the optical.
Whatever interface I add it stays in LAN category not WAN (for the eth always) Has anyone any idea how this WAN over ethernet can be achieved?
I have seen it in another setup but they don’t know how this was done.

I haven’t had that issue with mine. I use the drop down for the interfaces and selected opt:WAN, then added an IP address to it. It should then show up in the interface list below.

Once you have a network assigned to the opt:WAN interface you can then select it in the dropdown menu for default route at the bottom of the page.

I am running BNQ_2.6.12.31.1 which is the latest version of software AFAIK.
