implement eSIM feature.
This would make deployment immensely easier and would completely eliminate all existing SIM related support issues. There is nothing more frustrating than doing a truck roll just to re-seat a sim card.

Just want to bump this one. Newer phones (iphone 14 and next gen samsung galaxy) are coming w/o sim card slots but support CBRS bands. This is super handy for private LTE. Please add support for esims on the platform.
Chiming in on this. That’s a YES vote for me too.
Bumping this again. Another yes vote.
Bumping… This needs to be a thing today for all newer devices.
For somebody who represents education this is very helpful from a security perspective so that the parents cannot take out the sim and use it in other devices.
Bumping for 2024. Any update on if this will come to Cloudcore users with Baicells?
That would be great.
I have had several CPE problems that stop reading the SIM Card and I have to go to the client’s place to clean it because they are left without service.
It is a common failure unfortunately.
some of my devices only work with esims… would be great to have support
Jesse, can we get some kind of update on where esim support is in the development roadmap?
another up vote here. Not only is it frustrating to do a truck roll just to pop out a sim card and clean it/re-seat it, on top of that we have lost countless clients due to recurring sim card read failures. This is the main reason we have not bought any 5G enb or UE from Baicells . Baicells support has never resolved this SIM read issue which to me means its a physical issue that they cant fix with software. eSIM would remove this problem altogether. If at least the cloudcore would support eSIM then we could at least still use the Baicells 5G enb and Cloudcore. An eSIM UE from Baicells would be icing on the cake
another up real vote here from Brasil. I manufacture mobile panel antenas for towers in Brasil and I was entering on this business of mobile/fixed internet operator but i found that nobody has any information about authenticanting users, eSim yet worst . No one in Khomp brasilian representative of Baicells knows a thing about it. They just want to sell radios that will be useless without authentication of quality. I read some topics here and is impossible to decide to follow ahead. Even the normal SimCards seams not be functioning well. You see only complains and unhappy costomers…i will give it up…
