Nova 430i SAS cert expired 3.0.12 fw

Hello!

I recently acquired a 430i and upgraded to latest firmware 3.0.12. Unfortunately, that did not replace the SAS certificate from WInnForum, which was issued Dec 22 2020 and expired Dec 21 2025. As a result, I cannot get my frequency grant from Google SAS.

I’ve been trying to get support, but now I’m 3 days into attempts with Baicells, and I’m not getting any response. Attempts to call in to support always goes to voicemail; nobody returns my calls. My e-mails went dead with no response. I’m stuck on my project…got gear and a SAS CPI and can’t do anything with either…

Does anyone else have the solution? Perhaps someone has gotten new certificates and can share them with me? Or maybe someone at Baicell can chime in?

Hi Jim,

We are in the same boat. We have been chasing this since January with out any luck. It is a bit odd since we have done a lot of work with the engineering group to solve bugs we have found. We were directed to Sales, but they haven’t been responsive. We have about a dozen radios that are bricks right now. We have had good luck with Moso Networks radios. They have a good management platform. We also have Nokia radios, but they are a pain to manage with a lot of vendor interaction required.
