Hello everyone, I am curios to know if anyone else adds surge suppressor’s when doing an install for a customers resident. We do this as a safe practice, but lately we have been noticing that the UE when connected to the Base Station will blink in and out. Currently we use the Cambium Networks - 600SSD Canopy Surge Suppressor, when doing an installation. As a precaution we went ahead and replaced the current customers Surge Suppressor with a new one and put new RJ-45 ends on the cable, so far we haven’t seen it go out yet.
But I am curious to know if anyone has recommendations of a good surge suppressor or if the ones we are currently using are fine.
